Own your Menopause

Own your Menopause

If you are a woman of a certain age, you may have noticed that conversations about menopause are everywhere at the moment.

On one hand, this is great news. I am a strong advocate for informed choice and personal empowerment in healthcare. However, much of the current narrative around menopause is still very generalised and reductive—often focusing on symptoms as something to be “fixed,” rather than understood.

Menopause is a natural transition, experienced in completely unique ways, by over half of humankind! While hormonal decline is  part of the natural process, the way each woman experiences this phase can vary enormously.

Some women experience intense symptoms that disrupt daily life. Others move through this stage with minimal discomfort. There is no single “normal”—and no one-size-fits-all solution. We shouldn’t have to suffer a this time of growth, but unfortunatkey, for lots of  reasons, many of us do.

This is where a more individual approach becomes essential.

Owning your menopause

To “own” your menopause is to begin tuning into your body with curiosity and compassion.

What are your symptoms really like?
When did they begin?
What affects them?
How are you feeling emotionally during this  transition?

It’s also a time to reflect more deeply:

  • How do you feel about ageing?

  • Are there fears or beliefs influencing your experience?

  • Are you listening to your body—or overriding it?

This stage of life can be challenging, but it can also be an opportunity for greater self-awareness, confidence, and balance.

Homeopathy and menopause

Because every menopause experience is unique, it lends itself particularly well to homeopathy.

In my work as an online homeopath, I take time to understand your individual pattern of symptoms—not just what is happening, but how it is happening for you and why it is happening for you.

For example, two women may both experience hot flushes, but:

  • one may feel intense heat rising to the face with irritability

  • another may feel waves of heat with anxiety or exhaustion

  • one may experience these hot flushes so intensely that they cannot function in their daily life

  • another may acknowledge them but experience them as only a mild inconvenience.

These differences matter.

Homeopathic treatment focuses on:

  • your specific symptoms

  • your emotional experience

  • your overall health and history

  • your susceptibility

The aim is to support your body in rebalancing itself as it adapts to this transition.

I work with women whether or not they are using HRT or other treatments—this is about supporting your choices and your unique journey.
